New bunded enclosures, pressure vessel foundations, fire walls, pipe rack reroute, permit to work execution.

What the client was up against.

A live LPG bottling site needed to grow bulk storage capacity to 2,080 metric tons without disrupting bottling operations and while staying inside the relevant pressure vessel and fire separation codes.

Options on the table.

01

Build a new greenfield depot at a second site.

02

Close the site and rebuild on a single phased shutdown.

03

Insert the new capacity into the existing site under live operating conditions with strict permit to work controls.

What Tameer delivered.

An in situ upgrade built around a permit to work regime that segregated the construction zone from live bottling. New bunded enclosures, vessel foundations, fire walls, and pipe rack reroutes were sequenced so the bottling line could continue to operate alongside the works.

The outcome.

The 2,080 metric ton storage and bottling capacity was commissioned in 2025, handed over for inspection by the relevant regulators.
